Hi ,
I've had one of those worrying letters! We have info linking "your ex" to this address. Please send bank statements, bills etc. We have genuinely been separated for three years, no idea what the link is. All bills in my name so no probs sending them plus bank statements clearly show him paying maintenance for kids.
My question is is it worth sending additional stuff or just what they have asked for. I really want this closed. Ex can supply tenancy agreements of where he is living, do you think it's worth me sending things like holiday bookings that are clearly just me and the children going away.
Just wondered if it would help. Feels like a big cloud and although I know I'm doing nothing wrong still very stressful.
Thanks xx

Send what they ask, but no harm if bringing anything extra you have to the interview. Do you still have a mortgage together? Or maybe he hasn't changed his address with his bank, or car insurance or electoral roll.0

Think what changes you or your ex have made during the last say 6 months.
Could it be that your ex has given your address or your address has been recorded, when the child maintenance payments have been set up ?
There will be a form completed by someone fairly recently, where the address has been matched.
I suspect it is a admin check, just to check whether it is a simple error or whether you are living together again. By sending the information requested, you should clear the matter up.The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0
