Paying off credit card whilst abroad

hi,
I go to Australia a lot and use a local SIM and haven't had a problem in 10 years when paying bills.0 -
I think that sites that block access when you are not in the UK, such as BBC iPlayer and the OP's doctor, can detect where you are regardless of how your phone is connected. Unless you defeat them by using a VPN set to a UK server, such as the Turbo VPN app.
However I've never known a bank or card company to block non-UK access, as long as you can log in correctly, anywhere in the world.Evolution, not revolution0 -

1. All access from a sanctioned country (e.g. Iran) is actually blocked.
2. Access to internet banking from a non-sanctioned country is not blocked, however, if one is trying to access internet banking from a country which is often "connected" to IT frauds (e.g. China or India) one will be able to log in, but transactions for large amounts and setting up new recipients will likely to be blocked.0
