Lisa, leave the cards alone! Get some breakfast and go for a walk for at least an hour, if you're able to.
Remember you need your hard-earned money for the basics first - rent, car, food etc. - and anything left over each month you budget a small amount (fiver, tenner) for treats. The rest is for debt payments.
If you start spending now, it's just emotional and likely you won't get much pleasure from whatever you buy. It will only hurt you, and hopefully you will have had enough of debt hurting you already. Get yourself a quiet space, and, if you are not working today, take some time out to think of how you are going to change your way of thinking about money and spending for the rest of this year.

do you have any hobbies? Something that you are good at and brings you joy? I know when I'm absorbed by something I love I get so much from it and never think of spending any money. It also helps me when I have work issues as focusing too much on difficult situations just make them worse for me, better to put it out of my mind and usually things blow over. If I obsess about them they get worse

It is a bit difficult to offer help without more details but sorry you are having a bad time. Just remember any money problems can be sorted. The work problems I sympathise with. Can you look for a new job?

Spending money that you can't afford might give you an initial 'high', but ultimately it just adds to problems. Xxxx
