Bloody talk talk!

We were taken in by all the hype and switched to talk talk. However, the service we received was terrible, so we decided to switch back.

The little booklet which states the terms says if you cancel within 30 days then you don't have to pay a cessation fee. So we called within the 30 days and asked to cancel. They said they would put a note on our file that we wanted to cancel and we should just apply to the new company to set up as normal.

This morning however, I received a final bill from Talk Talk including a £70 cessation Fee. Any advice???

It's a nightmare getting through to anyone so I'm wondering if it's worth pursuing or if all hope should be abandoned now. It's just £70 is a lot of money too us....but then again my sanity is also important!!

Call them up & complain that the service was terrible, thats the only way i see you being able to get around the £70 cancellation charge, failing that if you've used the service then theres no other option
