B bank savings account closing issue

Long story short.

Have a savings account with Clydesdale bank well its under their B brand it was the one offering £200 to switch a few months back, when I opened the current account with them for the switch you got a savings account too.

Obviously have no access to a branch as I livein NI so switched the current account to Nationwide.

I then decided to empty the savings account as the APR is awful and move it into a Cash ISA. Upon going on to my internet banking it brings up an error saying you have no accounts to move the funds to, even though I have moved money out of this account before.

Rang the bank and they say because you no longer have a current account with us you can't transfer any money from your savings account and won't give you the option to do so.

I send a letter in writing to bank asking to close the account and to send the balance of the account as a cheque.

Get a phone call a few days later saying we have recieved your letter and a check will be in the post expect it within 10 days.

25 days pass and no cheque. Ring again and ask for my money no probelem sir we will transfer the money to your new current account and close the savings account it may take 2 days. 5 days pass no money transferred and the savings account is still as it was.

Ring again yesterday and ask why didn't I get the money, girl on the phone says I will mark this as urgent and get the money transferred to you there has been no activity on your account apart from any payments made in by yourself. So obviously the bank didn't bother even to try to transfer the money. The money should be in your current account by the end of today.

I tried to log into the mobile app to see if the money was still in the savings account but I can no longer log in to their online site - Maybe thinking the accounts now closed this is why it won't let me in as I no longer have any accounts with them.

However at time of writing the money that was in the savings account still has not transferred to my current account so I have no idea where the hell my money is now. Should I maybe just be a bit more patient?

I am at my wits end as its quite a substantial amount of savings for me and I just want it back
