Don't open the box. There's no reasom why they should need the serial number unless they want to use it for some nefarious purpose themselves!0

yes i thought the same..what shall i tell him.
many thanks for reply0 -
i wouldnt give them the serial number, they are more than likely asking every seller for it so that they can then apply for the free wii covers (or called another name), you can only apply for one if you have a wii and you need the serial number to apply.
how rude of them !!!0 -
the same thing happened to people selling the xbox360 elite, i would reply telling them to either buy their wii skins (thats the name) or buy a wii and apply for one with their own serial number.0

i just replied and asked him what serial number he was looking for as i didnt want to give it out....lets see what his reply is heheheh
thanks for replies im so glad i asked now had a feeling it was dodgy.0 -

Just say you don't want to devalue the item by opening it0 -
they may also be wanting to chip the WII and want to know what revision of motherboard is fitted0

If they want the serial number let them buy it & then they will know!0

glad hes not replied will remember in future if i sell owt again
thanks everyone0 -
The main thing people want the serial number for is the skins, so they can sell them again on ebay.~*Cerenia*~
