Hi there,
Can you help.
I started a pension back in 1990, we had just got married had a house, mortgage and was working. At the time they sold me life cover as well as the pension, which I have paid ever since.
I have life cover with my mortgage which I have always paid.
Back when I started it I was naive and money people would sell anything to make money.
We have reclaimed our endowment can anything be done with the life policy
Any help would greatly recevied

Why is it a missale?
You were married and had liabilities. Almost certainly there existed a need for life cover. You would have to prove you didnt need life cover and from the limited bit you say,you did. So, unless you can prove no need existed, you wont get very far.
You cannot claim a mis-sale just because you havent died and claimed on the policy.Back when I started it I was naive and money people would sell anything to make money.
Thanks for being so rude. The majority of professional advisers dont sell anything to make money. You can make stereotypical comments about any profession but you wouldnt assume they are all like that. Tell us what your profession is and no doubt we could make a number of assumptions about you.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
