Sorry another post but please help if possible. First week of October I bought a DVD off a seller with 100% feedback. Due to postal strikes it was delayed ( fair enough) about a week after the strikes I emailed this guy to query and he apologised and said there were still wild cat strikes going on in leeds. This was on the friday and he said he would post out the next day and use special delivery as I had been inconvenienced but he did warn post was still not right down there. I waited another week patiently and for other reasons went into my ebay and to my horror found that under the goods it said no longer a registered user. By the way he never sent me the tracking details. I contacted paypal who contacted him and they came back with the tracking number. This did not exist on Royal Mails web so I phoned them and they said it was false. I have now escalated the claim £11.99 not much to some but a lot to me and this was a gift for my mum who is going through chemo. Anyway what happens now? Paypal say he posted it as he has provided proof (yeh false proof) they are going to wait another day to see if I cancel the claim which I am not. It did have buyer protection, does anyone think he has done a runner with my money? and are paypal liable to wriggle out of paying up?Many thanks
Fire up the Quattro!

If the tracking number does not prove delivery then paypal should side with you.0

We had the same thing happen to us when we bought a football top. It took weeks and weeks to get it sorted and in the end the shirt arrived I think it was only because the seller, got that fed up of me nagging him and constantly asking where my shirt was that he thought it was best to cut his losses. Persist with Paypal though as they should side with after all they do provide seller prtection!
2008 will be the year I finally get organised!:o
