Child Benefit Question

I have a question regarding Child Benefit which I hope someone can answer.
We have three children age 17, 16 and 8 and all are currently in full time education.
Our eldest leaves school in the summer and starts a full time job, so I understand that our child benefit for her will stop.
However my question is that since we receive £20.80 p/w for child one and £13.70 p/w each for two and three, does current child two become child one thus meaning they will receive the higher rate, or do two and three remain on the lower rate?
Hope that makes sense :-)

Yes. The oldest child that you are claiming for gets the higher amount.0 -
The same thing will happen when the next one moves off CB - the one remaining child will get the higher amount.0
