Anyone elses line Dead in the 01227 area?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone in the 01227 area has a dead phone? My Friend does and I have reported the fault to BT and they have said there is a fault on the line. So I just wondered if it was only her or if others are having the same problems? The problem is she has no dial tone or anything at all yet when I ring it the phone rings my end but not hers then BT ans.phone cuts in. It isn't her phone as she swapped phones and it was still the same.
