I've just transferred my existing credit card debt to a 35 months 0% interest card and it comes up with 0% for 35 months on transfer, and 0% for 6 months on new purchases. I'm a little unsure on this one, if i make a new purchase with my new credit card does the existing debt go from 35 months to 6 months or is it kept separate ? i don't want to lose the 35 months for something as low as 6 months.

Ideally, get two separate cards. One for BT, one for purchases.

The answer to your question will lie in the T&Cs of the card you have in mind.
