If you mean duty free, and buying again on return journey takes you over limit - yes.0

Where are you flying to?Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0

A friend bought on the way out but it was kept for her to collect on her return.0

If you're flying back to the same airport you leave from, and you don't need this product while you're away, you could check if the airport offers a Collect On Return service.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -

If the passenger is departing the eu and buys dutyable goods then no airport in the uk should/would offer a collect on return service as this would circumvent the customs control of dutyable goods entering the uk.Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -

Makes sense... I was wondering how it could work otherwise.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

What if the collection point is airside? The customer/passenger would then have to take the purchase through Customs in the same way as any item purchased while abroad.0 -

Well ive worked in the majority of airports in the UK and ive never seen a collection point prior to exiting customs.
So in answer to your question this would, in theory, be ok but i cant think of a single instance where it would applyLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
Still not a few people 100% clear on duty free.
There is no such thing if you depart an EU airport or cruise terminal and the destination is within the EU.
The "duty free" outlets in Greece are a joke - it's cheaper to buy in the local resorts. I reckon the Greek government is using them to help reduce the national debt.0
