Overbooked Hotel

Hi All,
We booked with lastminute.com and the evening before flying out were told the hotel was overbooked. We were then offered 5 alternative hotels, all of which we were then told were not available.
By this stage we were considering cancelling as the alternatives were such a downgrade from the original booking.
So we asked the call operator our right to cancel, he said we could be refund for the hotel but he wasn't sure about the flight. The flight would have been about half the cost of the booking, which was £1600.
We then tried to access our rights on their website but the link was dead. The call operator then informed he's office was closing and we had to chose a hotel we very much didn't want to stay at. And when we got to the hotel it was worse than expected, most (if not all) of the claimed facilities were at their other hotel a 5 minute walk.
Anyway, now I'm able to access the T & C's I can see we did have a right to fully cancel the holiday. I've emailed lastminute.com and the CEO but both emails were ignored.
Can anyone suggest what to do here?
Many Thanks

I posted on their Trustpilot page and now they say they are dealing with it. Bit of public shaming goes a long way. Well its not sorted yet so who knows.0
