Getting credit score after living abroad?

Hi all,
I'm in the process of moving back to the UK after a few years of living in Ireland and I'm trying to access my credit score. I have a new UK address but none of the credit agencies can find my score and I presume it's because I haven't had a UK address for a few years.
I think there must be a way around this but I'm not sure what it is - should I call the ratings companies and try and find my file that way? Do I need to wait for a period of time? Does anyone have a similar experience?

Hi all,

Your score is 99 gorats :-)
Apart from the fictional numbers generated by CRA's to trey and sell you their subscription services you do not have a credit score. What do you have is a credit history and, regardless of whether you have had a UK address or not, if you have not been financially active in the UK for the past five years then your file is going to be a little thin.0 -
Ha! Thanks
It's more that nobody seems to be able to find my credit file... I'm hoping to rent a place of my own in 3-6 months (moving back in with my mum for now) and I want to get it sorted in the event I get credit checked.
I may well be worrying about nothing, but worrying is something I'm exceptional at!2019 Aim: Save £10,000

The rating companies are the credit agencies and its your report your wanting to acces not your score.
Have you tried speaking to 1 of the agencies at first ?0 -
