The thing is they expect you to stand there, silent rapt attention, baited breath hoping to hear you've won and when you ask them straight out it totally throws them off their patter, they don't know what to say.0

I had the call around 5.30pm last night.....
Me: "Sorry, I cannot speak as I am having my tea" (I wasn't really!)
Caller: "Ok, when would be a convenient time to call back then?"
Me: "Never, as I'm not interested thanks"

Pretty certain I unticked any 'send me further marketing' box, as I always do.
Either way, the comp doesn't close until 31/01, so it's unlikely to be informing us of a win. Booo.0 -
We should have a thread with ideas for what to say to these 'cold callers' in order to get rid of them quick!
