By participating in the KLM UK Aruba Giveaway, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Information about the Competition and the Terms and Conditions
1.These are the terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) which apply to KLM UK Take Me To Aruba (hereafter referred to as the “Giveaway”), a promotional action by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (“KLM”). All Participants in the Giveaway (each a “Participant” and together the “Participants”) agree to be automatically bound by these Terms and Conditions and any associated entry requirements. KLM has the right to disqualify and discard any entry which breaches these Terms and Conditions. The Giveaway can be accessed from the official KLM UK Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/klmuk/ ) or directly via (https://www.takemetoarubaklm.klm.com) and is organised by KLM UK. The Giveaway is available to all residents of the UK excluding Northern Ireland.
2. Participation in the Giveaway gives the chance to win one pair of KLM UK economy class return tickets from the UK to Aruba, via Amsterdam, with seven nights accommodation at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort (the “Prize”).
3. The Giveaway will take place from 09.00 Monday 13 November 2017 and will end on 23.59 Monday 27 November 2017. 4. Participation in the Giveaway is voluntary and no purchase is necessary.
5. Participants must register their details to take part in the Giveaway and be entered to win the Prize. To complete the Giveaway entry, users must watch four (4) videos and correctly answer a question in relation to the video content. Each correctly answered question in the Giveaway will result in one (1) entry into the Prize Draw. Participants are allowed to enter the Giveaway as many times as they want. They are also able to gain one (1) additional entry by sharing the Giveaway on Facebook, and one (1) additional entry by sharing the Giveaway on Twitter.
6. The Winner of the Prize (the “Winner”) will be chosen at random from all participants and will be informed publically by KLM via social media by no later than Friday 08 December 2017. The Winner of the Prize must confirm they accept the Prize by no later than 17.00 Friday 15 December 2017, by sending a direct message to the email address announced, stating that they accept the Prize. In a case where a Winner has not claimed the Prize within the indicated timeframe and in the form specified, the Prize is forfeited and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of the Prize. KLM has the right to (but no obligation to) select another Prize Winner.
7. It is the Winner’s responsibility to provide a correct postal address, if required.
8. Misrepresentative or fraudulent entries will invalidate an entry and KLM may disqualify such entries.
9. Participants must be at least eighteen years of age at the time they participate in the Giveaway and reside in the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland). KLM reserves the right to require written proof of residence and age before awarding a Prize.
10. KLM reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who is not a natural person.
11. Employees of KLM and any of its associated companies, as well as members of their families, are excluded from participating in the Giveaway. 12. KLM reserves the right to disqualify Participants found to be using multiple Facebook accounts or email accounts to enter the Giveaway. 13. In the event of a Winner being discarded or disqualified, for any reason, KLM reserves the right to randomly select a new Winner of the Prize but is under no obligation to do so.
14. Liability and Applicable Law: The terms of the Giveaway and these Terms & Conditions are subject to English Law and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute. The Giveaway Judges’ decision is final. Any liability of KLM is limited exclusively to the value of the Prize. KLM, any subsidiary and holding companies, their employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives, will not be liable, in contract or tort (including negligence), or the breach of statutory duty or any other way, for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, disappointment, or damage, however so arising, which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with the Giveaway or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
15. KLM accepts no responsibility for any person not being able to take part in the Giveaway for any reason.
16. KLM accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. 17. KLM cannot be held responsible for problems with networks, computer hardware or software, or any breakdown or failure that results in the Participant’s entry or any other information becoming incomplete, damaged or lost.
18. KLM shall not be held liable for possible disruption to internet services or related links occurring due to unpermitted data sharing or illegal acts, which in turn result in disruptions of administrative procedures and security and organization of the prize draw. KLM shall also not be held liable for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletion or loss of e-mails. KLM shall not be held liable for Internet congestion, equipment quality of the Internet user, quality of Internet connection and/or transfer delays resulting from this.
19. All decisions made by KLM regarding the Giveaway, including in the event of any dispute regarding the rules, results and all other matters relating to the Giveaway, shall be considered final and binding and will not be the subject of any correspondence.
20. Personal data gathered for the purpose of this Prize draw will be handled, and may be retained, in accordance with the Data Protection Acts 1998 as may be amended by the General Data Protection Regulation expected to come into force in May 2018. By participating in the Giveaway, Participants authorise and consent to KLM to publically announce their full name, including first name and surname, and Facebook or Twitter handle name if necessary. A Participant grants consent to KLM the right to store, use and publish his or her name and Facebook name (and any other personal data provided for the Giveaway) in such media as KLM may choose (including but not limited to the internet) for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration.
21. KLM’s general privacy policy applies to all information received. KLM’s privacy policy conditions are available at www.klm.com under Privacy Policy. The Participant may unfollow KLM_UK  at any time using the unfollow button on Twitter or unlike button on Facebook.
22. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be substituted for any other prize or cash value.
23. KLM reserves the right to change the type of Prize in the course of the Prize draw or to replace the Prize with a different Prize of equal value. Under no circumstances shall this alternative lead to replacement or refund.
24. KLM reserves the right to adapt the conditions, definitions or other information, or to cancel the Giveaway, at any time during the Giveaway without any form of prior announcement. If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of KLM which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, KLM may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries.
25. Should any term and/or condition of these Terms and Conditions be void or unenforceable, that term and/or condition shall be deemed deleted and the remaining terms and conditions in these Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect and Participants agree to be bound the remaining terms and conditions in these Terms and Conditions.
26. Flight and hotel prize is valid for departure from 01 April 2018 until 31 October 2018. Flight and hotel prize reservation is to be made no later than [Friday 30 March 2018]. Travel must be completed by Wednesday 31 October 2018. Booking is subject to flight and hotel availability within prize booking classes and blackout dates may apply. The Winner must depart from any of the 17 KLM UK departure airports. If the Winner starts their journey outside of the UK to reach a KLM UK airport, they will assume all responsibility to arrange all the necessary transport to the UK by themselves, and at their own cost. The Winner will be responsible for any taxes, costs and other expenses that are not explicitly included in or connected to the Prize (transport to and airport parking, travel documents, travel insurance, etc.). Prize includes flight taxes.
Tickets are subject to availability. Each return ticket must be used together (both passengers must travel together). One of the passengers must be the Prize Winner. An adult must accompany any children or infant. Booking must be made at least 28 days before the preferred date of travel. No extension of the dates is allowed from the specified in these Conditions. No change of companion, names, travel dates or any other detail in the tickets is allowed once these have been issued. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be substituted for any other Prize or cash value. Income taxes (if any) paid on the value of this Prize, or any other applicable surcharges, shall be the responsibility of the Winner, parent or legal guardian. Winning tickets are excluded from the Flying Blue programme. Winners who are members of this programme, including those who accompany them, may not accrue Miles for the Prize flights. Winner must have a valid passport to travel (valid for at least 6 months beyond the return date for the trip). Winner and accompanying persons must obtain all visas, permissions and other documentation required. KLM is not liable for the costs of obtaining the correct entry documents. All travel is subject to KLM’s standard terms and conditions of carriage. KLM cannot be held responsible if a Prize Winner or any of the travelling party fail to obtain the required travel documentation. The Prize Winner and accompanying person are responsible for and must comply with any health advice/regulations/inoculations required. Any associated costs for this are the responsibility of the Prize Winner. The Prize does not include gratuities, spending money or other travel expenses, or any other costs of a personal nature. Winner must depart from one of KLM’s UK departure points: Aberdeen, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Durham Tees Valley, Inverness, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Humberside, Leeds Bradford, London Heathrow, London City, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich or Southampton.
