Unauthorised use of our ebay account - advice please.

Had a very quick scan of the first few pages but can't find the information I seek. We had an email from ebay earlier today to say that someone had accessed our account but that ebay had themselves removed the items that person listed under our name.
Hubby has gone in and changed passwords etc but I am feeling a bit panicky and would appreciate any advice. The items were pornographic dvd's - not our scene or type of stuff at all! Is there a record kept of what any particular ebayer has listed in the past because I would hate anybody to find those (now removed) listings and think that's the sort of people we are.
If someone has been able to access our account and make three separate listings over a couple of days, is our whole computer set-up compromised in any way? Would the unauthorised person now have details of our home address? Is there a risk that we cannot yet forsee?
Sorry to be such a ninny but I really don't know very much about how such things work. Much like a car, I guess, I know how to drive and fuel it but couldn't begin to change the brake linings.
Any advice most gratefully received.

If ebay have removed them from the database then they will not show up if any one searches your previous sales.
Can I suggest that you go over to the techie board here and ask them how to do a full scan on your PC in case you have a trojan or a key logger as if a hacker has access to your PC it could get worse than just affecting your ebay account.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It could also be that the account was accessed via a backdoor loophole that eBay have left open for admin to remotely access eBay accounts which we found last month or you've logged into a fake eBay website after clicking a link with an email0
