Do you reckon this is for a picture or for an actual item? I am confused....

(Hope that link works)

He says:

Here's a scan of the lanyard and 4 pins sold during Lion King's carnival in DLRP.
Lanyard is yellow with brown footsteps.
There is a yellow card hung on it (the official PT card of DLRP).
Pins are 2 x 28510 and 2 x 28511

New in original plister package.

I am confused, he says it is a scan - so do you think it is the actual item? Or a picture? The seller is German so it could just be the translation but I don't want to buy it an it be for a scanned picture in blister packaging. I have looked at the other set he has and it says that it is a starter set with pins. Maybe it's just me but I am way to paranoid of being done on eBay these day.

Anyone care to cast a judgemental eye? Thanks.

  • Personally, I think it's fine. He seems to sell a lot of these sorts of items. I wouldn't be worried to be honest.

Thanks for this. I took the plunge and bought a couple. I hate the way you have to be suspicious about everything you want to buy these days.
  • Yes, I know what you mean.

Although to be honest, the most suspicious thing to me about this listing is that it's from Germany. Seems fine though, hope you receive your items soon!

Why Germany? Are you not covered with paypal anyway though? I have spoken with the seller and they seem fine and seem to have a good understanding of English.

I know where these lanyards are probably from to be honest, when we went to DLP a few years back there was a big marquee up and people were walking around with huge black bin liners - there were so many people (this opening day of Primark in Oxford Street) people were queueing for hours so I had to go have a nosy and they were going in one side and coming out the other with these bin liners, it clearly had to be some huge clearance sale and they were knocking the stuff out very cheap, just judging by how much stuff people had with them. As these are not current seasons lanyards I would say these are probably from one of those sales.

I did go for the Disney Pricess one and the Toys Story one so I guess I'll find out soon enough!!
