Hello,
My son is looking to get a dental implant for one of his top front teeth. He has a sticky bridge at the moment.
He is 22yrs old and looking to get the work done in the very near future.
How does he go about choosing a dentist that can do the best possible job?
any thoughts or suggestions would be great.

What about asking his regular general dentist for a referral?
(Is this the lad we spoke about a few years ago?)How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -

Hello Toothsmith, yes this is the same lad. Gosh what a good memory you have.
Our family dentist would refer him to someone quite a distance from home and from his work. He was just wondering if there were other alternatives and if there was a straight forward way of finding someone else.
thanks
