Ocean Finance Loan 2002

I took out a loan with Ocean Finance in 2002. I have made a few enquiries and know that I was mis sold PPI. The problem is that because the loan was taken out in 2002 and the insurance was handled by a broker it is almost impossible to track down. The loan was for 20 years so I am still paying the loan but of course the Ocean Finance of 2002 no longer exists. My question is as anyone had any success claiming on a loan so far back that is difficult to find the company responsible or is it a lost cause?.

The company responsible was the broker who sold it to you.

    They won't have been regulated.
