Laskys are a reputable electrical firm, and whilst cheap on somethings, they are expensive for others. In fact, my partner and I managed to purchased a lovely plasma TV for £400 less than elsewhere for her father.
That aside, they are not PC specialists and subsequently their prices aren't the most competitive.
I wouldn't put any Norton product on any pc of mine, simply because there are plenty of alternatives available on the internet for free, but that is not what you asked.
If you are planning on putting Norton on, stick to NIS 2007, you'll find it satisfactory, and you can buy an OEM version of that for £13.85 +P&P from ebuyer.
All you get is the disk and the license, no fancy packaging, support or manual, but the manual is available on the Symantec website, and support is available wherever you find a forum, and frequently answered quicker than the Symantec support ever answer.
If you do want a list of suitable freebies, then I suggest that you take a gander at the WebUser list of Software available for free to protect your PC. Most of the products are as good if not better than some paid for products0
