Barclaycard Platinum Application

Hi All,
Just need a bit of advise. I've been going around in circles with BC.
Applied online for their platinum card on the 22/8/17 with an eligibility score of 7/10.
Application was referred and after speaking with them they said it was passed to their fraud team which have approved the application but it is now stuck in their system. Everyone says they will contact the right team etc but nothing is being done.
My question is what do I do about the wasted search on my credit file? Is this grounds to have it removed?

Do you know if there is an average time BC take to process referred applications? I was told it was approved by the fraud team on the 29th Aug.0
