Bank Charges - mine goes to court tomorrow.
I am due at York County Court tomorrow at 2pm, I assume my case against Barclays Bank will still be heard? - I have called the court twice to ask if this case is still due to be heard and they tell me it is BUT, I have read so much about people going to court only to be told the bank has applied for a STAY and they are back to square one cos of the OFT announcement delaying things. So, firstly can anyone tell me what I need to take with me tomorrow to the court should the case go-ahead, any advice about what I need to say and if there is anything on the internet where I can get some research together. I am dreading all this, I know the basics of what to say but, like everyone else who goes to court I have no legal knowledge. I have all the documentation/correspondence for my case including a list of my bank charges etc but, what else do I need...? And is it likely this will be sorted out tomorrow so I can get on with my life? Can I object to a stay if one is suggested to the judge by the bank and what would be my grounds for objecting - my claim is for £3,400 plus costs..
HELP...PLEASE SOMEONE...

You take everything you have mentioned with you....you probably wont even get a chance to say anything...if you do..then you need to say that you feel the charges applied to your account are punitive in nature and in your oppinion do not reflect the true cost to the bank and you request with immediate effect that the bank offers a breakdown of the charges and losses incurred whether there was a breach of contract or not to both you and the Court. Take also a copy of the UTCC 1999. Go on the CAG site and print off most of the Claimants that have already been paid out.0
