Shortfall in rent

I have been kicked out of my parents house and have no where else to live so I will be made homeless. I get Employment Support Allowance (ESA) and am in the support group. In my Local area there are no 1 bed properties that are available in social or private rentals, so I need to find a 2 bed property. I have found a 2 bed flat but unfortunately my housing benefit will be reduced due to Local Housing Allowance (LHA) so I will be short by £41.05 a week. I can't go into a shared house due to my severe depression and anxiety.
Will I get Discretionary Housing Payment to cover the shortfall in rent?
Is there anything else I can claim to try and make up the shortfall?

Where are you living at the moment? Are you still at your parent's house?
Have you been to the council and registered as homeless?
You say you have found a two bed property. Have you signed a tenancy agreement?
Sorry, not clear from your post.
How old are you? What rate of LHA are you eligible for? Shared or one bed?
Do you claim PIP?
Are there no self contained studios available?
I suggest that you go to the council for some advice about housing and also make a homeless application.
If you are still living with your parents then you may wish to stay there until a claim for PIP is processed as this would give you a little more money.
If there is a definite lack of one bed places in your area and your council verifies this then a DHP may be awarded to cover the shortfall.0
