    Perhaps you could discuss it with your bank, they might tell you to reject the payment ; then it's not your fault.

    I hope you're not claiming any benefits. Both DWP and HMRC take a very dim view of husbands continuing to use wives' bank accounts when they're supposed to have split up. They very often take it as a sign that the husband hasn't really gone.
