Nokia 3220 MMS Problem

Having bought an Orange 3220 I managed to unlock it OK and works fine on 02 for calls & SMS. The problem I am having is sending an MMS despite obtaining very detailled information on configuration settings from 02.

Am I the only one having this problem ? Has anyone else had to put in personal config settings , proxy address , port number , server address etc. If so does anyone have any ideas what i'm doing wrong ? Checked a number of boards and can't find anyone else mentioning having to do all this.

WAP & 02 Active also works OK

Thanks

Nig

Try sending yourself the settings from the Nokia website

if that doesnt work or you have done this already, post the following info and I'll try and help

What happens when you try to send a message?

I also had the same problem. I tried Nokia's website and it was unbelievably really slow so gave up and the settings from o2's website didn't work so I rung up o2 customer services and they said they were aware of the problem and sent me an email with how to configure it manually instead which I did - no probs now.

I'd try Nokia's website as mentioned by puno.

(i'm assuming you had already tried o2's website for the settings which didn't work?)

Thanks to you both. Got a lot of help fron o2 customer support with the cofig details but all to no avail. That Nokia site worked a treat though and eventually got everything working. One thing i'm familiar with the phone now !!

    Cheers
