The prize must be taken and completed by 30 April 2018, excluding travel over UK School Holidays (8 April 2017 – 23 April 2017; 27 May 2017 – 4 June 2017; 19 July 2017 – 31 August 2017; 21 – 28 October 2017; 10 – 17 February 2018; 30 March 2018 – 14 April 2018), 1st May 2017, Christmas and New Year (19 December 2017 – 4 January 2018), Eid (25 June 2017 – 31 August 2017) and the Dubai World Cup (last Saturday of March). How the Other Half Lives S3 Competition – Additional Terms and Conditions

1) The prize comprises:
a) Return economy class flights for two to Dubai from the prize provider’s choice of airport in London;
b) Return airport transfers for two between the airport and The Meydan Hotel;
c) Seven (7) nights’ accommodation for two at 5* The Meydan Hotel, based on the winner and their companion sharing an Executive Room, on a bed and breakfast basis (subject to availability) ;
d) A bottle of house Champagne in the room on arrival;
e) Access for two to the Executive lounge for the duration of the stay, includes a selection of drinks and snacks throughout the day;
f) One-day for two at Bab al Shams Desert Resort & Spa, includes return transport from The Meydan Hotel by limousine, day pass to the pool and camel and falcon photo opportunity;
g) 1 x 50-minute massage each at Bab al Shams Resort & Spa;
h) 2 x ‘At the Top’ Tickets to the Burj Khalifa (Level 125 + 124 only);
i) Travel insurance for two (subject to exclusions below); and
j) £1,000 spending money for the prize winner only.
2) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of the date of their congratulations e-mail from Element and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.
3) The prize must be taken and completed by 30 April 2018, excluding travel over UK School Holidays (8 April 2017 – 23 April 2017; 27 May 2017 – 4 June 2017; 19 July 2017 – 31 August 2017; 21 – 28 October 2017; 10 – 17 February 2018; 30 March 2018 – 14 April 2018), 1st May 2017, Christmas and New Year (19 December 2017 – 4 January 2018), Eid (25 June 2017 – 31 August 2017) and the Dubai World Cup (last Saturday of March). 4) The prize winner and their companions must hold current and valid passports and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to Dubai. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to organise and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for themselves and their travelling companions.
5) The winner and their guest must depart and return to the same UK airport.
6) Travel insurance terms exclude pre-existing medical conditions and insurance is subject to standard policy excesses and an upper age limit of 69 years.
7) Either the prize winner or their companion must be over the age of 18. Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged18 or over to check into the hotel. Please note that either the prize winner or one of their companions will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure that they and/or their companion adhere to the local laws in Dubai. It is highly recommended that the prize winner and their companion obtain advice from a medical professional in advance of travelling and ensure that vaccinations are up to date.
8) The prize excludes ground transfers in the UK, additional meals and drinks which are not included in the prize, additional excursions, attractions, additional treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, visas and vaccinations where required and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
9) The prize and all its elements are subject to availability.
10) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize. The prize is non-transferrable.
11) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
12) A cheque for the £1,000 spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed.
