Ppi and credit cards

I have a list of cards i had dating back about 10 or 12 years .I have no other records of the cards except the credit limits on them at that time .
Is it possible to use these details to start an investigasation to see if ppi was paid and then make a claim ?
is there a standard letter template ?
Where do i find their new addresses as some no longer exist in the name they were using

I'm afraid that information is completely irrelevant for a PPI complaint. If you don't have account numbers, dates and (preferably) documentation you are really going to struggle.

Do you know if you even had PPI?

i have no other imformation to hand ,is it not possible to request imformation from the companies ?

Why not ask them? If they no longer have any records, though, you won't get any further without documentary evidence from your own archive.
