e2save electronic redemptions
hi,
i have just had my sixth bill from 3 for the e2save "12 months free line rental" offer that was running in december 2004. i seem to recall someone posting an e-mail address for electronically submitting a bill to e2save; can anyone recall this? maybe i was imagining it...
also, is it acceptable to send a photocopy of the sixth bill to claim cashback, or do they get awkward about this sort of thing?
thanks.

I haven't heard of this method, that would make it too easy! I know a friend who also took up this offer and he's going to send the first two pages of his original bill to the usual address, along with a covering letter. I recommend you keep a copy of the bills and send the original's to e2save, as this is what they request, by recorded delivery.0

Make sure it is the correct bill they require. If you started with them in December it may well be the June bill they want.
They use an example of connecting in February and claiming the cashback in August.0 -
We sent copies not the originals and had no problem getting the cash back. Must admit didn't realise they actually wanted the originals.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.
Terramundi weighs 8lb 5oz0 -

the 'Cashback and line rental' letter which came with my phone says 'copy of the first 2 pages of 6th monthly bill' so I have just a copy of my 6th bill,i.e. May bill, as I took the contract in december. We will wait and see0 -

The 'Cashback and line rental' letter thing must be a recent thing, e2Save didn't put any letter in the phone package siz months ago, when I bought my phones from them!
I read on their website that they're going to start sending out cheques to people:
"Subject to you having remained on the original price plan chosen, we will send you a cheque for the due amount within 21 days of receiving your invoice."
And they are giving out Chequeback vouchers with their phones as well nowadays!!0 -

Just received my cashback for my '3' phone. Cashback more than 2 months late and only sent due to my perseverance. I must have phoned them at least 6 times. I heard every excuse in the book - it's been sent, it takes 10 working days etc...
To top it all off they even said that some banks and credit cards are wary about accepting credits to them! Perhaps this is their silly fault for not issuing simple cheques...0 -
I've been trying to find again the bit on their site that explains what you have to do to get the cash back - anyone got the link?0
