I have a quick question regarding twitter, now I understand someone retweeting a competition that is on my page, so they can enter also, but why would people retweet the message I put like a thanks for the competition #win. Not even people I'm following just some randomer!

Bots, set up to auto-retweet anything with certain words in - #win is a common one.

TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

When I'm feeling peeved at twitter bots I post "You won't #win a #prize or a #competition if you #retweet this post". Just for fun
