White Sauce

Hi there, As we are talking xmas can someone tell me where you can buy a packet or tin of plain white sauce to pour onto a xmas pudding. My friend asked me but I only know of the one;s with brandy in them.

Any ideas

I've tried every year for 6 years to find this sauce and failed. My mother in law used to buy one in ASDA years and years ago but no-one seems to stock it now. I make Delia Smiths rum sauce without the rum and it tastes lovely. You could always try that

Don't bother with tins or packets!
Just put a couple of dessertspoonsful of Cornflour into a jug, add some sugar, and milk. Stir, bung in the microwave for 4 - 5 minutes. BINGO!
It's just the same as custard, only without the vanilla flavour or colour.
My Grandma and Mum used to do it like this, and now I do too.
