So many questions which can be answered by going to the Mobile Phones board and reading there.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

Someone once told me that when something seems too good to be true, it usually is. But I can't see where there's a problem with this offer. Am i right in thinking they give you the £480 via cheque but they only take that amount back from you again, so there's no problem? can anyone see a problem? i might just go for this!0

You pay £40 a month to Vodafone and you can then claim £480 back from the retailer in 4 instalments of £120 after 6, 8, 10 and 12 months.
To claim you have to send in the nominated bill in the required time - if you forget to send it in or you send it in at the wrong time you do not get your cheque. If the retailer goes bust you do not get your cheque.
Whatever happens you still have to pay at least £480 to Vodafone.0 -
Thanks gromituk...
I've just popped over to the mobiles board but I can only see the cashback offers for £480, am I right in thinking the OP's post is to pay one months line rental and thats it? I'm happy to do quidco and risk £50 not being tracked but i'm not sure about the other deals where you get £480 back- would be nice but it'd go wrong for me

It is the same as the £480 offer minus £40.0 -

Which you are not guaranteed to get back via the cashback

I see now- silly me, I looked on the other offers where you get a free xbox or wii... It doesn't say on them about the larger sums of cashback. Think I'll leave this one to the pro's- I'll only mess it up

problem is that some of these companies go bust quite easily... so i would stay with the big names0

Agreed, I have a u600, it is very good looking but it is the worst phone i have had for usability (and I have had a few)
I have to disagree, I have this phone and love it, no problems with the touch screen at all, mind you I had an LG Chocolate before and so maybe after the horrible time using that the U600 seems a breeze :-)2007 £1749
2008 £291.99
2009 JanMasscara £7.00 Feb megcabot books x 2 £20 XFactor tkts x 2 £58.00 (couldn't go though as they only phoned on day :-( ) foundation £7.99
total so far for 09 £92.990
