UNO Sofa

Hi,
Apologies in advance if this question has already been asked, this is my first post.
During the mid 90's we bought a sofa from a company called UNO (in Salford, Manchester). This company no longer exists (or it doesn't in Salford). We bought the sofa on UNO's credit scheme, which we paid off. Does anyone know which financial company UNO belonged to, as we going to see if we paid PPI to them, but can't find this firm or any details. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Don't waste your time, it's 10 years before regulation started so the firm would have no liability for the sale and the finance company don't eitherSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
