Help please - Lifetime ISA

I would really appreciate if someone can advise me as I can't find the answer anywhere.....

My fianc! opened a Help to buy ISA. I own a house so I couldn't open one.

We are going to open the Lifetime ISA and then save for about 5 years.

In the meantime we got married but his name isn't on the deeds of my house.

Will there be any complications with him using his Lifetime ISA for his first mortgage when we buy a house together? I just don't want them to be funny about it. I understand that as my 2nd house I will have to pay SDLT which I can claim back if we sell my original house within 36 months...

Thanks in advance!
