parking fine from PPS

Hi there,
hopefully on right thread.
Looking for help/advice and guidance over following situation.
I parked, bought a ticket pretty sure in a space that was allowed to be parked in,did the same the following week-as on a course, one day later received a NTK letter simply stating I has parked without authorisation,so 2 things I know i'm going to get a second fine ! but more annoying is that I don't know what 'unauthorised' actually means in this case...I sent them a copy of my parking ticket for the second week via their appeals process but no one has got back to me to discuss as their blurb alludes too.
Having looked at the template for IPC when challenging this fine their NTK letter states information obtained from DVLA was done in accordance with vrhicle registration act 2002 and they did include several photos of my car etc so two things on the template seem redundant?
Is being able to simply say 'unauthorised' enough in itself to make the fine binding, and how can I 'prove' that I parked in good faith in the first place?

regards kippertie

fisrtly you need to learn to write in terms of the "third party, so not "me myself or I" but THE DRIVER parked , THE DRIVER bought a ticket etc

the terms to use are THE DRIVER and THE KEEPER ,

ESPECIALLY ON PUBLIC FORUMS THAT PARKING COMPANIES CAN READ AND TAKE SCREENSHOTS AS WELL

and these are not "fines" , they are invoices for breaking their parking rules (the only person or business calling them "fines" , is YOU)

the private parking industry is unregulated, so in theory they can do as they please, but if it goes before a court they then have to prove their case to a judge , within 6 years , under the prevailing laws at the time of the "contravention)

the template is "never redundant" , because there may be rules or laws or CoP issues surrounding their "evidence", so putting them to strict proof of all of those legal points is never a "redundant" task

you are never going to prove any legal points to them , their industry works on the premise of catching their prey and making them pay a release fee , like clampers used to do (with the threat of court if you dont pay the invoice (s) )

stick to what that NEWBIES sticky thread says and follow the instructions exactly, it is their as a free service for your benefit and has been honed over several years into its present form. therefore you wont get better advice anywhere , especially not free advice

No they aren't - you appear to be too easily impressed by PPS' words! But you need to understand the challenge will not get this cancelled, it is just a way of responding without naming the driver, so you look reasonable and are not ignoring them.

But as it's an IPC firm with no POPLA available, you will know from reading the NEWBIES thread now, that IAS is not worth trying so then you will be in ignore mode, only taking seriously actual court papers or a LBCCC. All covered in detail in posts #1, #3 and #4 of the NEWBIES thread.

PPS are not very litigious but check each letter. Please, please please no updates about debt collector letter chains...!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

At some point, you are going to have to establish just what you appear to have done wrong. If your ticket was on display and you still have it, then one possible explanation that arises on here is that you bought a ticket for a different car park or you parked in permit holder only bays.
