Sent first appeal, of course rejected. ParkingEye

Afternoon all, well I went into the Sleaford Aldi store where I had parked and subsequently received an 'invoice' via mail. My receipt couldn't be found on their computer for the day and time I parked, so I was advised to get a copy of my bank statement as that would suffice and explain what happened on the day in question. Well I did that and have received back ' we received your evidence of purchase, but be advised this didn't meet the discretionary criteria set by the landowner in this case'and the graciously (!) gave me a further 14 days to 'cough up'.

I don't want to do that, so what do I do now please? There's another route to appeal (POPLA?) I think, so would I do this via their website?
Thanks,

POPLA is covered in post #3 of the NEWBIES thread near the top of this sub-forum, with templates to copy. You should also add the extra appeal point about 'genuine customer exemption' which you should be able to find as someone was daring and bunged in a single-point POPLA appeal on that basis only last month.

Search the forum for the words in bold, to find that POPLA appeal point in a recent thread, and add on the usual templates from post #3 of the NEWBIES FAQs sticky thread, then show us. Whilst looking at post #3 of the sticky, check whether you PE PCN matches the type with the 'blank space' at the bottom with no mention of keeper liability (unless you already admitted to being gthe driver in which case you don't have that point 'no keeper liability' anyway).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Coupon-mad, thanks for reply, will have a look. It was the MANAGER at Aldi that told me not to admit I'd left the store, that the tills weren't all working that day etc., and that it was a Saturday!
