Gladstone letter before claim.

I've had a letter from gladstone solicitors about a private parking charge notice because I didn't appeal within the 21 days I had to do so, I was just wondering if any one on here knows if I would be able to tell them that it was my partner driving the vehicle so I could restart the appeal process ?
Need advice asap as I only have 2 days left to respond.
Thanks.

You can, but it may not be the best course of action. Without knowing the full circumstances no-one can advise you.

Country, place, date, windscreen or ANPR, operators name, alleged offence, signage, amount wanted, etc., etc., etc.

It's in the uk windscreen ticket from link parking dated November 2016 for not clearly displaying a permit. The ntk was asking for £100

You could name the driver (you must give name and postal address, and keep proof so no phone calls!!). They will then have to pursue the driver or they might continue trying to hold you liable and issue a court claim, and one of your defence points would be that you had already discharged any possible liability under the POFA by naming the driver.
