DawnR1978, can i ask what email address you sent your defence to?

long story short I have my draft written and ready to go but for the life of me can't figure out where to send it to. Someone else suggested checking the MCOL website for contact details but I have left my gateway ID written in work and can't access it now.

    Thanks in advance :)

Just Google 'CCBC contact us' like you would for any company or service. I am amazed another two people have asked this today, when the words 'contact us' are standard on any website and is the first thing to do to find any email.

Or search this forum for 'CCBC email'.

    It is that easy.

  • Hi everyone just when i thought it was safe to go back in the water i received over the bank holiday weekend a letter from Northampton court that CEL want to defend their claim?? I have received papers asking me to return by 9 September saying this claim could be put through to a small claims track rather than go to court. I wondered whether this was a tactic to have this telephone option and frighten me into submissions and get some money and maybe say my chances oin court where slim so best to agree something now. I take nothing for granted and wondered whether anyone on the forum had experience or advice.

I have foilowed everyone's advice here and actioned everything in accordance with the forum so i'm bit confused!! I've attached the letter (private info blanked out, thanks.

What? The Small Claims track IS the small claims court process!

My goodness you need to do some more reading, and stop thinking this just goes away with one defence.

This is merely your DQ form, like everyone gets, as all other CEL threads tell you:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/73031957#Comment_73031957

How to complete the standard (fully expected) DQ form is fully covered in the NEWBIES thread post #2. Please put yourself ahead of the game and read what to expect when, rather than be surprised by the next piece of paper!

Are you the OP, Vickyah21? This is her thread.
