Lake Vyrnwy Hotel & Spa is set on the slopes of the Berwyn Mountains with views stretching across a Victorian reservoir, complete with a fairy tale water tower that dominates the scene. The hotel is at the centrepiece of this vast Vyrnwy estate, which originates back to the late 19th century, when the city fathers of Liverpool dammed up the Vyrnwy valley to create a fresh water supply for the city of Liverpool. To ensure the purity of this fresh drinking water, the 24,000 acre catchment area was purchased and transformed into a sporting estate with a splendid lodge - the present day hotel.

2. The closing date for entries will be noon on 27th February 2017. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other special breaks or promotions such as Christmas, Gourmet Weekends etc.
