What, you mean how much would it cost them to claim, if you lost and had that added to the parking charge? £25 to file the claim then £25 hearing fee. Obviously you pay nothing, you defend and most people win.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Considering MSE is my buildings parking management company and they already have my details since they issued my permit. I suppose I can sign with my name and address for correspondence back?0

Your building, your space. Or your space at the very least.
Why on earth are you displaying a permit, or even bending to the parking company? From the Plain Language Commission:

It's not my building per se, I live in block of flats and administration of the whole building recently <2 months ago decided to hire this company to be in charge of the parking as there were many random cars parking and was no space for residents.
So I have no choice and here.
Additionally I have saw this case were guy won against parking company on grounds that bays were to small, even though there is no legal regulation about the dimensions, it is agreed that 2.4m wide is standard, largest bay in my parking is 220, but because there are construction works being done it is 180cm and another ones are only 205cm wide, if every bay is taken between cars is enough space for a very thin person, and this is maybe.
ANYWAY, do you recommend to put my name on the letter to MPS or not, if not should I only give my email instead?0 -

Idiots. They really should not have done this - taking on a parking firm bunch of scumbags is NOT GOOD. Most of these firms are ex-clampers and bottom-feeders, intent on money, never mind who from...for goodness' sake, how long have the idiot administration agents signed up for with this bunch of goons? Awful stupid decision, a matter of out of the frying pan into the fire and all the residents will be threatened & sued, as well as delivery drivers, visiting GPs or district nurses, friends & other visitors.
All they needed was a gate if these 'random parkers' really were not residents. Not a protection racket and residents sued.
TBH, despite the advice in the NEWBIES thread, I am planning on changing it for IPC members, to say WAIT for the postal Notice to keeper then send one challenge. Let them get your DVLA data first, as long as you are the keeper.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
