Give job ref of new employer or volunteer co-ordinator?

Hi Folks,

Just started a new role about a two weeks but now applying for another job, as the current job involves long distance commuting.

Now, do I list my current manager is a referee or my volunteer coordinator, where I volunteered for a month before I got my new job?

Provide reference contact details as requested, more likely to be current employers HR.

Either, if the other job gives you a choice. If the other job requires your current employer then you must use your current manager or HR.

Either way, a reference from someone who has only known you for a month is not going to be regarded as a very reliable reference.

It just says 'give two people who can act as referees' I think I'll give HR/Office manager name, as she might be better suited.
