Help to buy or regular cash ISA - advice please!

Options
Hi,

I'm looking for some advice about whether to open a help to buy ISA or a regular ISA.

I'm going to be able to pay in more than £200 each month, and I'm not looking to buy a property for at least another 5+ years.

Would I be better of with a help to buy isa and saving the rest in a regular savings account, or should I just open a normal isa?

I currently don't have an isa at all.

Thanks!!

If I understand your question correctly, you're asking if you should:

    1. Get 2.27% AER with a 25% bonus later in a HTB ISA, and 5% AER on a regular saver or two, or

    2. Get 1.01% AER in a normal ISA.

Does that help you make your decision?
