Tax credits + cashback deals on new account switches

Does anyone know if tax credits count as an income and towards the £1000 monthly pay in of the First Direct requirements to receive the cashback? Does it mean having a balance of a £1000 untouched or totalling pay ins for that month equating to £1000?

It's not a "monthly pay in". In order to get the incentive you simply need to...
