I am thinking of opening a FlexPlus account with Nationwide.

I am attracted to the free ATM withdrawals, the travel insurance and breakdown cover.

There is an a monthly fee of £10 per month but you do get:
Earn 3% AER interest on balances up to £2,500.

It doesn't say what interest you get on any balance over £2,500.

Is any surplus amount over that £2,500 just ignored for interest purposes then?

...... Or are you not allowed to put more than £2,500 into that account?

( The leaflet doesn't clarify that )
