can we please stop bumping comps by having to copy and paste the terms and conditions into them?????
whats the point? we can all click on the terms if we r interested. only need is if the terms are veey different like postcodes or age restrictions.
thanks.
(ps. see the top few comp posts as examples)

To be fair, they are already at the top of the forum, so the competitions you are talking about, aren't actually being bumped, maybe only by a post or two.
I appreciate seeing holiday terms and conditions, to see easily what is included (travel, accommodation etc.) Although I am more than happy to scour the terms and conditions myself if I'm interested.
If you are ticking and cross each competition as you go, it shouldn't be too much of an issue as you would know if you had entered or not.
It is only one person that is bumping at the moment, how about a polite message to them if you have an issue.Thank you to everyone who posts competitions and good luck to everyone who enters.0 -
That's not a "guidelines" issue, copying "long text" is covered by the forum rules. We ask forum users not to copy long text from other publications/websites as it may breach their copyright. If you want to let people know about something you saw or read elsewhere please use short quotes and state where you got them from, preferably by giving a link to the article.
In terms of our copyright, you can post things you've posted here, on other sites, but not posts by other forum users.0 -
Actually it can be very useful to have the T&C on here. Often after a competition ends they are taken down from the entry site and it can be the only way to check exactly what you should have received as a prize.
There are much more random bumps than having the T&C added.Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.
