Any issues cancelling Exprian after free trial?

I need to get hold of my Exprian report. I'm sure I read somewhere that it was frustrating and difficult when it came to cancelling before the free period was up?

Have things improved and will I have issues when I come to do this?

Thanks as usual

A simple phone call is all it takes.

Remember, this company is out to make a profit, so they will try to persuade you to stay signed up to there product.

Just be polite, stick to your guns, keep repeating "i wish to cancel please" and they will do it there and then.

I recently did this. You can actually cancel online as soon as you actually access your account and it won't renew when the trial ends. From the end they started sending me to their free creditmatcher service which tells me the credit rating but doesn't have the details of the credit report.

I still double checked that it wasn't going to be renewed by phone before the end date, but the experience had no surprises.

    Hi Ferry,
You can actually cancel your Experian CreditExpert membership online now (long overdue I know). No need to call us anymore, although you can if you want or by email.
Full details on how to cancel a CreditExpert membership can be found here - https://help.creditexpert.co.uk/help/sv635/Cancel_and_duration/cancel_membership

Wouldnt say it was frustrating for me, I was asked if I was sure and the benefits were explained to me, maybe it depends on the advisor you speak too.

If you are still reluctant to sign up and then cancel, or you may want another at some time in the future, you can instead buy a one-off report for £2.
