My daughter has had a nightmare 18 months trying to sort out incorrect charges and miscommunication between Vodaphone online and telephone customer service departments (apparently they don't talk to one another!) resulting in an incorrect adverse marker being placed on her credit rating!
) Vodaphone customer service department and complaints dept did not follow up on complaint investigations/findings, resulting in her involving the Ombudsmen. It doesn't end there ..oh no....even when the Ombudsmen had issued their findings in my daughters favour, they went on to lie to the Ombudsmen stating that they had actioned repaying and compensating her...when they had NOT in fact done so, resulting in her having to re contact the Ombudsmen. They even delayed payments due by deferring it for a period of 10 working days to process the transfer and even then didn't do so resulting in a further delay of repayment.....she's still awaiting the monies to her bank account.
It's beyond a joke how incompetent they are and concerning that even when faced with hefty fines and 'sound bite' excuses they still haven't got their house in order.
If you contact them make sure you get the full name of the person you speak to and keep copious notes. Do not hesitate to refer to the Ombudsmen and inform Ofcom if you experience poor customer service

Or you could follow the long-stated advice on the main Vodafone complaints thread, which usually results in faster, simpler and genuine resolution to your common (plus innumerable other) problems created by them.
