Ridiculously Cheap Ipod Base/Speaker system....

I bought a £30 Asda own brand Ipod dock speaker system, got it home and to be frank it wasnt great. I just want it to take on holiday an i know that i would have got angry with it so i decided to pop into richer sounds in leeds today to see what they had.

Low and behold they had a £30 kensigton flat panel speaker system which looks great and sounds much better than the asda offering.

It retails online for anywhere up to £100, however richersounds have it on for £29.99 reduced from £79.99, however if you join thier VIP club its only £20 which is a give away. All you have to do is give them your e-mail address and thats it!

Its a Kensigton sx 2000 if anyones interested.

I've got one of these from Richer. Perfectly acceptable for smaller rooms, not a lot of bass but for background music it's good.

Wow, great find!

Note: Just got one from their West end london store - they had piles in stock and reduced the price to 20 quid when i gave my email address.

These have now been reduced to $50 on Amazon (US) so I doubt this is so spectacular a bargain, but i do think its great value for money

Must say, i'm most impressed. For 20 quid they are easily the best speakers for the money. The sound has a good bass to it and doesn't distort much at loud volumes.

Anyone know where I can get a cheap Ipod plug charger? I don't wanna lug my laptop everywhere!
