I have a rolling contract with VM for £27.40 and get 800 mins 4gb u/l sms. A discount of £19. making my contract £8.40.

I have it in writing that my discount is valid from 21st may 2012 to 01 jan 2037. Luckily enough I got a pdf print out of it before they took it off!

now they claim it isn't cost effective so they don't want to give me my discount! they sent a sms and removed my discount, i called and they said it is their "sharp shooter campaign"

Has anyone else had this and what are my rights??

They gave me choice of either take a crap contract or quit.

Are you serious? they give in writing a discount applied to 2037 and they can remove it at any time?

If they give you 28 days notice, I believe they can. Orange did the same thing with their OVP months plans a few years back. Everyone got told, we can't do it any longer...
