thanks paul it seems cable users like me are quids in as broadband and phone charges are totally seperate ie you cant cancel your bt phone line rental to subscribe to VONAGE (which has similar charges to 18866)in other words i pay £16 per month for 1meg broadband ,my phone line rental is included in this amount, SKYPE was the other company highlighted, this is totally free,no decoder 'BOX' requirednever put off buying a bargain today,it may be gone tomorrow0

I forgot to get home in time to watch, but there was part of a program a few months back as well. It was interesting to hear a man from Vonage interviewed on the radio earlier in the day as well.
I'm sometimes amazed at just how long it has taken broadband and voip to arrive. I predicted it to the boss 19 years ago; missed my true vocation I suppose :rolleyes:0 -

Well that was great fun being able to chat to Andrea rather than typing via messenger.
Took me some time to get the mike fixed up but was most impressed with the clarity when I got it all working. Will need to read through the Skype instructions a bit more and investigate further, also look for a headset type mike.0 -
